Widow's Pension Betty Anderson (Victory Downs)
Jimmy and Betty Anderson were married prior to 1949 and that union continued until
Jimmy's death at Ernabella in about 1956. There were three children namely
Joe, born 1949, died Alice Springs Hospital 3. 8.1955

Julie, born 1956
Betty formed an attachment for a Hermannsburg man named Paddy whilst the two
were at Henbury but it did not last any appreciable time and could not be
deemed a marriage.
A fourth child, part aboriginal Mary was born to Betty on 9th September last.
The father of the child is said to be Bobby Armstrong; but he resides in the
Hebury district.
As far as can be ascertained Betty Anderson is not living as a wife, defacto
or otherwise. She is employed as a Domestic at Victory Downs.
