Was soldier in the Torres Strait Light Infantry Batallion.
Discharged from Army 23. 1.1945. Previously admitted
Fantome Island 28. 6.1944.
Jack Harrison H/C - married, aged 53 years. Admitted Fantome
Island January 1948. Prior to admission was not subject to
control by Department of Native Affairs. Wife and child live
at Amamoor.
John Eggmolesse H/C - married, aged 51 years. Admitted Fantome
Island January or February 1948. Not subject to control by
Department of Native Affairs. Wife and five children live at
Bundaberg.

Leprosarium. Married with children.
8. 8.1957 Fantome Island Leprosarium Invalid Pension Claims
The following claims should be allowed.
Annie Cummins H/C - Aged 24 years, married. Not under control
of the Department of Native Affairs. Has been in the
Leprosarium for 15 years and married an inmate in 1949. If and
when cured will join husband in Cloncurry.
Eric George Guymore (Gyemore) H/C - Married, living apart
from wife for three years. Has Certificate of Exemption. Was
admitted to Leprosarium from Kingaroy district in January 1957.
Kenny Thompson H/C - Aged 62 years, married, wife's whereabouts
unknown. Has Certificate of Exemption. Has been an inmate of
Leprosarium for approximately 9 years.

Claimants
Kennie Thompson H/C, 62 years, married, apart from wife. Exempted
from State Control in 1923.Admitted to Fantome Island early
in 1948.
Eric C Guymore (Gyemore), 32 years, married, apart from wife.
Admitted to Fantome Island in January 1957. His wife left
him on 10. 4.1954 and there are no prospects of reconciliation.
Exempted from control of the Department of Native Affairs in 1950.
Annie Cummins, 25 years, married, husband emloyed.
Pensioners
Robert Bismark, 54 years, single, invalid. Exempted from State
Aboriginal control in February 1940, and receiving pension
since 6. 5.1948. Removed to Fantome Island on 31. 7.1953
and still an inmate.
Jack Harrison, 60 years, married, invalid, now residing at Gympie

from wife. Granted exemption in 1923. Admitted to Fantome Island
